Default timing mark

did the lt1 intake swap and need to check timing, but i cant seem to see the mark on crank. is it on the crank pulley or on the balancer/damper thanks geo pic would be great if someone has one

its on the balancer you should be able to see it easy

shiver that is what i thought also, but i cant see it at all. that is why i wanted a pic, it is just a groove cut in the balancer right

hi,ya its just a groove cut in .unless the balancer is really greasy you should be able to see it.just get some one to sit in the car and bump the engine over until you can see the mark up top.the mark you should see easy its a deep groove .
