PCV valves are intended to be hooked directly to the intake manafold.
This would typicaly provide a constant vaccuum to the crank case, and remove any "light" blow by that (All engines have); and prevent these polutants from entering the atmosphere.
Now that you have a SC installed you have a few issues.
You have more blow by when under boost, and you have boost in the intake manifold which obviously cant suck out the crank case.
Smog legal
You need to vent the case with a valve cover breather that has a hose attached to the air cleaner.
Attach PCV line to intake vaccume sorce.
But..The PCV is a check valve (And a cheep one).To prevent manifold boost from bleading into you crank case, You should install a second check valve inline.
Or do like me:
I run a standard valve cover breather, no hose, and I plug the PCV
Cool thanks. I don't have a spot on the intake itself for the PCV just the back of the plenuim so I'll go your route and put a breather in the valve cover.
