It seems there is a reinforcement similar to the camber brace I had in my coupe already in the Vert. Is this something different between the two?? Coupe vs Vert.
No reason why you can't install a camber brace in a 'vert. They fit between the frame where the upper A-arm bolt to the frame, just like it would for a coupe.
Are you possibly thinking of the lower X-brace (R-D Racing call it a Cross-Brace) that's under the body? They are standard equipment on the convertibles.
I was looking at a C4 book (C4 Spec by Mike Antiock) and it showed pictures of the Coupe frame with the convertable parts added on and painted white. There does seem to be another brace between the front wheels that is not on the Coupe's frame.
That is why I was asking about the camber brace. I thought it may be redonedent on the vert.

The extra bits you are talking about were added to the coupe I think the next year after the vert came out, and have nothing whatsoever to do with the camber brace.
Only the earlier C4 Z51 coupes (and the 87 and 88 Z52 coupes) got the same small triangular gussets added to the front crossmember that were on the convertibles. I guess you could add them if you can find them somewhere like off a donor convertible or Z51/Z52 coupe.
The R-D Racing camber brace still will signifigantly stiffen the front end and improve handling even if those pieces are on a Z51 or Z52 car.
