Default Cam question. This ones A little different though!

Im looking to get as hot a cam I can and still pass emissions. so heres the question...
Will a single pattern cam with wider lobe seperation do better than a dual pattern with a closer lobe seperation?

Doesnt more duration/lift on the exhaust side cause overlap?
Also closer lobe seperation causes overlap as well right?

Less overlap= better emissions(as much as I understand atleast)

please correct me if im wrong!

sounds good to me. I've heard of people getting a Hot Cam and passing emissions with the correct tune. Sorry I can't help more.

Mainly, ttt.

In general, less overlap equals less emissions, but there are several other factors involved in the formula. I have a Hot Cam and tune with EGR delete and I can pass local emissions.
