Default FI size question

I am changing the top end on the LT1 to ported heads, 565 lift cam, and LT's. All the sites I look at say I need at least 30 lbs/hr and many say 39 lbs/hr. I do not want to run them at 90% but don't want to get too much either, any ideas or thoughts?

30's should be more than enough. Wouldn't go bigger unless you stroke it and go with a cam in the 6's. I have seen 24's support 425hp where is about where you will be depending on the porting.

I've been researching this myself lately, on an L98 tho. Reworked heads, CC503 cam and a stealthram soon to be installed. Going to rev to about 6300. Most research has pointed me to 24 lb/hr injectors, although many have said the stock injectors are still plenty. Forum member Vic'89 is running mid to low 11's in the 1/4 with a setup similar to what I'm heading towards and he said he is still running stock size injectors with no sign of needing anything bigger. I have no experience with the LT1 but I would guess that 30's would be plenty. Who is going to do your tune?? If you are not doing it yourself then drop your tuner a line and ask him what he suggests.

You definitely don't need anything bigger than 30's
