For using an LT1 intake on a Gen 1 head. Noticed the LT1 intake ports are tall and skinny in comparison to the Gen 1. ....
What gaskets are you guys using. Is there an oversized one?

I don't know if this'll help but the Felpro LT1 gasket is part# MS95580.

I'm not sure if the LT1 gaskets will work because of the new cooling lines you added to the intake.
You will likely need the L98 gaskets.
Sorry, no part number. Someone who has done the swap should chime in. I've been collecting the parts for the swap for over a year now but haven't actually done the swap. I'm interested in the answer to your question as well.

For an L98 AFR recommends Fel Pro 1205

BTW just an FYI
It is easiest to start with a complete '94-'97 intake with fuel rails and regulator. Being the difficult type, I started with a '93 intake, which does not have a front fuel crossover and the rear of the rails interfere with the distributor if they are not shortened. After mocking the intake up a few times, I decided to add the front crossover to ensure sufficient fuel to all the injectors as it was going to be difficult to achieve the crossover in the rear. I also opted to use an Aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator and plumb everything from the factory fuel hard lines with AN6 (3/8-inch) braided stainless hose. With the '94 to '97 intake it is possible to use the regulator and fabricate factory-style fuel lines to forego the aftermarket fuel setup.

The 1205 is the biggest that will fit and is the most popular to use. The 1204 is slightly too small for the LT1 stock ports. Some guys have tried the 1206 but not many have been used successfully without adding material to the manifold (welding).

Two votes for the 1205. Good enough for me.

mr gasket 5821...$14/pr from summit, p/n MRG-5821.

5821 matches the lt1 intake...if your stock vette heads are not opened up to match the intake you can use p/n 5820 with minor trim without cutting into the seal.
