Default DTC code P1641 on a LT4

Hi. Have a 1996 LT4 w/o electronic A/C. Check engine light came on. Scanned w/ Autotap reader. It shows P1641 which is "Fan Control Relay 1 Control Circuit". I don't find anything in my Factory shop manual about this relay and associated circuitry. Has anybody seen this code before? The autotap says it won't pass emissions with this light displayed! Aaargghh. I need to find it and fix it. Thanks.

DTC P1641 FC Relay 1 Control Circuit description is located in book #2 Page 6-599 of the service manual. For the cooling fan schematic, refer to Fan Control Circuits.

Thanks Roger. I found the relay laying on it's side by the radiator. A previous owner had siliconed it into the original spot after the cheap plastic relay retainer broke. Found another relay by it in the same condition but it hadn't broke completely loose yet. Going to the dealer tomorrow to hopefully buy two of the retainer clips to properly afix the relays. I'll check the circuit with the info that you pointed out. Thanks again for your help.
