So I'm guessing that I will need a suspension rebuild sometime in the very near future by the way my car is behaving. The rear end shimmies/sways/ondulates over uneven or rough pavement and feels disconnected from the rest of the car at times. The front looks to have been lowered by the PO and I'm almost done destroying my second front spoiler in a row. It scrapes the front skids often and it's become embarassing to have to drive so slow over roads that a Hyundai would fly right through!!
The rear is lowered as well and it holds a decent rake while parked, but on the road, the car 'flattens' out and looks perfectly level.
Anyway, does anyone have any pointers on how to tell if it's time for a rebuild? Other than what I described, the suspension is tight and very responsive. It's my first 'Vette so maybe I'm just learning to deal with a stiff car. 1996 LT1 base
