I am thinking about getting a C4 Corsa exhaust. I want it totally for more power. Does this provide a good power gain, or is the only thing I'm going to pick up is more noise at WOT?

I don't like loud exhausts, especially with my car being the convertible.

From a looks standpoint, I'd like to stay as stock looking at possible, but know that the Corsa has different tips.

You will get a little more power, noise, and looks. No resonance! :cool:

2012 coupe

I just had them installed on my 92 A/T. Sound great. Not too loud at idle and sound really great when you put your foot into it. Great fit, see pic. I had my welded together after they were all fitted in place.

They are great exhaust systems. The sound is not to loud and there is no resonance in the cabin. Very nice! :)

I am still entering the data in the spreadsheet, but I did do some dyno runs before and after the Corsa system was installed.

Before Peak Corrected Numbers were

Torque: 309.2
Horsepower: 266.6

After Corsa System Corrected Numbers were

Torque: 319.4
Horsepower: 282.8

The only change was the Corsa system.

The gain was 10.2 Ft Lbs of Troque and 16.2 Horsepower.

I will be putting the spreadsheet out on my home page soon.

I'm a performance oriented person myself, and have heard that this exhaust does have some positive gains, but its all relative to the application it is used in.

Like what was stated above, I came away with an improvement of 17 RWHP. I haven't seen any other system get that kind of increase.

I only have the system for performance although the slight increase in sound seems to help on matching engine revs during downshifts...seriously:)

I painted the mufflers/tips all black and the system is invisible-your eye is no longer drawn to it...
