what do I have to do if its really high, how do I adjust it?

As far as I know you cant adjust them and most do release alittle high.
Does it slip?

they are not adjustable and are meant to grab when the pedal is let most of the way out.

yeah ine lets out just when im ALMOST able to take my foot off it. Its a brand new clutch ( 5,000 miles) and it was lower for a while. I didnt know if you can adjust it or not
