Hi i have a91 auto c4with these mods afr 190 heads superram manifold and plenum 13/4 tpis headers 219 lingenfelter cam 58mm throttle body1.6 crane roller rockers motor is 30 over breathless air rammer dana 36 rear with 3.73 gears Ihave pulled a1.57 shortime with this rear am going to put in a44rear what gears would work best last sat. i managed to get a11.880 with this setup :cheers:

I believe the consensus will probably be to go with 3.07 or 3.45. :yesnod:

I think 3.73s work well with your deep 1st gear and only one OD. On a 6-speed 4.11s might be the ticket.

BTW, that's one helova short time and ET. What stall TC and DRs are you using?

Scorp is right on. If you already have 3.07s, think of something else to do. I have a similar setup as you and switched from 3.07 to 3.45s when i did the dana 44 swap. I do perfer the 3.45s for street driving, but i dont think they helped much (if at all) on the 1/4 mile. I race with another guy with the same setup that is still running 3.07s and he acutally short times better than me.
