Default 1996 CE Z51 Conversion??

So, my 96CE is not Z51. It has the ride adjustment package however.

Does anyone make a Z51 Conversion package?
Or, Has anyone done this and perhaps have some recommended parts that are the OEM replacement? I race the car in SCCA A-Stock so OEM replacement is important.
TIA Guys!

The 96 Z51 is still pretty soft compared to an 88 Z51.
What you really want is the biggest sway bars, eariler year springs, and possibly stiffer bushings.

the sway bars make a notable difference.

Even though it isn't supposed to fit, I just had a 30mm front solid swaybar from an '85 installed on my '93 with heim-links and coil-overs. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet (it's raining).

Call Rod. He just did that conversion this year. PM me for the phone if you don't have it. I think he has a 30 or 31 front bar. It's the same bar I had on front of the GS. We both know what that Vette can do when Rod's hot.

Yes when Rod is ON, neither of us stand a chance. You, on the other hand didnt even SHOW UP to day 2 of the pro this year and still beat me.

Perhaps I will just outlive both of you, then I will be able to take my jacket home without an asterisk on it (in my mind).

I have a number for him in my admin stuff from this year. I forgot he did it just this season.

I am doing the same thing to my 96 ce, what I found out is the rear springs are no longer available new, but the front are but not directly from gm they are gm original parts that are now being sold by a NOS dealer that buys discontinued stuff from GM, I got my originals from someone here who autocrossed also and had the springs with the original part numbers still on them..
