The L-98 aluminum heads have 58 cc combustion chambers

It is advertised at 58cc. I remember reading in magazine that the 88-91 D port Aluminum 58cc heads were measured at 55.8cc.

If you have the heads off you can check the cc size with a burret, a .25 thick piece of acrylic with a .25 diameter hole drilled. Using some petrolium jelly, create a gasket between the head surface and the plastic. Fill the combustion chamber through the hole, using the burret (graduated). When the chamber is full, the amount missing from the burret is your cc size for that chamber.
