I would advise against it for use in the C4. I looked in to it for my car. You DO have to modify the battery tray to get it to fit. I'd go with an AC Delco battery (75 series). Its the most powerful battery they make for the C4 and fits like a glove. Besides, what gains are you REALLY going to see from spending the extra money, HP? :D
I got it because the plates are spiral wound and it's a gel cell
I run on tracks, we've had to jump start 3 cars ( including mine :mad ) due to warped plates in conventional batteries.

come to think of it, the battery in the car that always dies whenever it isn't driven over a week is a die hard. So far it has, multiple times. I'll prolly get a new one when I pull it out of storage.

I forgot to let the "AC Delco" fans know why I bought an Optima...
#1 Reason... a cell died in my Delco battery... I have 10.5 volts and a green eye... trickle charge does nothing for bring up the voltage... how does that work ?
Truth is... any battery can fail
The guy with the yellow top Optima story... your buddy has a deep cycle battery... it is not designed for cars... Deep cycle batteries need to cycle... Hope that makes sence...
