Default Mini Ram Question

When running the fuel lines from the MR fuel rails to the factory fuel lines should I use the fittings supplied or just cut the fittings off my factory fuel lines and hose clamp the braided fuel line to the steel fuel lines. I ask this because one of my factory fittings was replaced with a section that was hose clamped on it makes no sense to me to hose clamp the fitting on then use the adapter to go to the braided lines to the MR rails or is there a better way to do this?. Does anybody know which fuel line is which? It looks to me the larger diameter factory line is the infeed or pressure line and the smaller is the return is this correct

Use the supplied fittings. The less rubber hose and worm clamps the better.

It would be great if you could locate a -6AN flare nut and bushing (assuming the feed side is the one that was already cut) and flare the end of the factory line. Then you could simply use a -6AN male to male connector to connect the factory line to the feed line supplied by TPIS (forgetting about the adapter fitting from TPIS). If the return line was the one modified, simply substitute -4AN fittings in place of the -6AN fittings mentioned above.

The larger line is the feed, while the smaller line is the return. Hence, the engine is fed fuel, then the residual fuel is returned to the tank.

when you say flare nut are you talking about the standard house plumbing flare or double flare or is a hand tool available to make the flare like the factory one that you know of. what do you think about just a ferrell type fitting. I think I can get the 6-an fittings from a local supplier for the flare
