I know the obvious one is Vette Brakes and Products. Do they have any competitors?

Check your local parts houses. They probably won't have it in stock, but should be able to order it, if you can find a counter guy that knows how to look up a part and not just punch it in the computer. TRW makes springs for Vettes, so they should be able to find one. It will probably be the same spring Vette Brakes will sell you and cost less if it is not written up on a Vette Brakes invoice. I don't have anything agains Vette Brakes, but some of these vendors mark prices up, just because they are a Vette Speciality supplier. Watch out for them.

I tell you...If I ever have to replace the one on my 87, it will be a dual mount type from vette brakes.

Just seems like the right thing to do :)
