Default Heater control

Last year....I replaced my heater core (leaking).

After putting everything back together....no heat. I figured that I must have forgot to connect something. It was summer at the time & I didn't need heat.

Anyone have an ideas where to start? Sure, I could just start taking things back apart....but want to know if there's things to look for. It blows air....but it's warm/cold. To me, seems like something is not opening to allow the warm air to pass. A/C always works ice cold.

A small motor drives an actuating rod that opens the heater box control door. You should be able to see this from underneath with a little trouble (like take the passenger seat out). Make sure the motor is getting juice and make sure the actuating rod linkage is hooked up.

Thanks

Last time I did this....I tweaked by back. I'm not exactly a small person & I really am not flexible.

Would be nice to have heat again
