out so I was looking at the lines for my breaks and just following the lines I took a look at my flywheel since I knew I was having problems with that. While I was looking at the houseing for the flywheel I noticed I could strait out see my flywheel. There is no plate on the housing of the flywheel, I see the screw holes but no screws or "hiding plate" Is there suppose to be something there to inclose the flywheel? and there is oil over everything. My machanic is gunna have a mouth full when I get the car there monday !!!
Wow.... I am not sure what is more shocking, the lack of an inspection shield or your spelling, grammar and sentence structure.
There is supposed to be a large tin shield over the bottom of the bell housing. This shield is designed to keep debris and moisture from getting into the clutch area.
Without it, bad things can happen.
If your mechanic neglected to install that part, you need to a) ream him out and b) fire his ***.
Wel I cant wait 2 go to the makanic and reem his ****. Thanck god I payed atenchon in english class wright? well How in the hell could someone forget to put that back on? Makes me think he messed everything up with the other things he did. my god im mad about this !
Before he worked on it no one else as touched it. So the shield should have been on there from it being built in the factory right? I mean, can I be pissed when I talk to him?

Sure you can, I just can't imagine the dude put the car back together and didn't notice that he left that off. Also, I think you you said the car had 150k? on the clock...the clutch had never been replaced? On the other hand, w/ that many miles on it, I'm sure someone's been under the car and would have noticed the shield missing...including the guy who's working on it now... He never said anything about...strange.
untill my break line problems I had only one guy handling my car and thats the idiot who had been doing everything. I cant believe it myself that he had forgotten to put it back on. Hope he has the shield laying around!!
I would sue both your English teacher and the mechanic.
Chances are the mechanic lost the little screws and figured youd never know of the cover was on or not. Get one on there so you dont get oil all over the disc.
