IMO it is not an upgrade. Have you ever tried the C5 seats? Lazy boy TV-chair has 10x more side support
I totally agree!! The seats in my 89 are far superior to my c5
Just wish I had a set of c4 seats for my c5!
The c4 seats hug you like a glove,and are excellent for going through the
twisties, While the c5 seats let you slide from side to side even with the side bolsters adjusted as tight as you can bare. There needs to be more body directional support in the fanny area before you could feel as confident as you would in the c4 seats.

I was thinking of this myself but more because the seats in my 91 are a little narrow. They push my legs into the wheel when it is tilted down.
