Default Removing Heater + Fan assembly

Wanting to loose some weight and make it easier to get to the passanger header bolts. And a future down pipe for a turbo

How should I reroute the coolant from the waterpump and one out the intake that goes to the heater. Any pictures of the whole unit removed? I seen a carbed Grand sport replica with this unit removed but I cant find those pictures, thanks

to get rid of the heater hoses just remove the fittings from the intake manifold and from the water pump and replace them with pipe plugs. I don't have any pics of the heater box removed but you should be able to do it, don't know if anyone makes a heater delete for our cars or not, but if you're getting rid of it you could just take the old heater box and trace it and make a block off plate out of something like a thin piece of sheet metal and paint it black to make it blend in.

I'm assuming you are removing the A/C evaporator too if you haven't already.. that should really clean up that side of the engine bay, if you make the block off plate it would be a nice place to mount an MSD box..
