Ive already have a new race cam.. heads have been rebuilt.. Shift kit in trany.. Vette runs and sounds good, BUT I want to go with a duel quad setup.. Cross fire sucks.. Like trying to suck air through a very thin straw.. the problem is once i go with a duel quad setup this makes my chip obsoleteI know gages will have to be replaced but I need a wiring harness to change all of this.. Does anyone know who might make such a beast.. Thanks

Ben73 from Austrialia runs lower 12's with a modified crossfire 84 vette.
Im going with a edelbrock low profile intake.. This also means new distibutor and linkage for carbs.. The electronic gages will no longer read some of the info.. Besides that.. I dont care for the eletronic gages.. Im doing a complete redisign of the dash console.. I wont be able to do this though with out a new wiring harness.. Someone had suggested a stingray harness.. But I want to be sure before I dive into this.. Any suggestion
You need to do a lot more research, First If your car is running great with the crossfire then you have no where the cam/head setup to require two four barrel carbs and what low profile duel quad intake are you referring to because the hood clearance is extremely close. Second having done the carb conversion to my 84, big mistake BTW, all of your gauges will work except MPG so no need to touch any of the gauges. Use the search engine you will find a lot of post on the subject
I like my Crossfire and I run high 12's. Perhaps you should try to understand it and work within its limitations before you bash it. Better yet sell it and get something more to your liking.
