Default L98 rebuild recommendation.

Ok to start off. I've got a 1985 Corvette coupe, automatic. Recently the engine started to knock, so planing a rebuild. Here's a list of parts, that I've been researching. I plane on reusing what I can, limited budget.
.030 overbore
Northernauto 350 master rebuild kit, with most of the good upgrades.
TPIS torgue secrets cam #700-134
New lifters, pushrods, guide plates
Summit Roller rockers # sumg6906 upgrade to 1.6
rocker studs, head studs, and main cap studs
adjustable fpr
corvette central true dual exhaust with muffler elininators
I will also due a mild port/polish on heads and intake
I know there will also be some misc. parts that will come up, but I'm an auto student so I'll do all of the work minus the machineing. Current mods include. TB airfoil, rebuilt trans w/shift kit, 3.54 rear gears. Any feedback or advice is highly recommended. I'm sure I've left something out sorry. This will be mostly daily driven with occasional drag racing.

i basically have the same setup, stout little motor! but not enough power, if the crank and rods are good i would leave them that'll save some money and would put the rest into some afr's amd a bigger cam!

Once I get the engine built, I'll have Tpis tune it. I'll put headers om once the engine is broke in. Did you convert to the 1.6, if so was there any problems setting it up?

I forgot to mention I'll probably raise the compression ratio to about 10:1.
