CD Player Stopped Working, Any Ideas PLease
The CD player on my 95 LT1 coupe stopped working. The AM/FM radio is fine as are the speakers.
I was playing CD's and all was cool. I then changed CD's and then the player would not read the disk. I put disks that the player had just read ok, and it would not work.
What happens is the disk goes in then nothing. No number comes up or anything. The player will eject the disk.
I tired a cleaning disk, but the player does not read it either.
Any thoughts folks. I guess that whatever part that "reads" the disk no longer works.
The system appears to be the stock Bose unit for that year.
