solution for ecm problems
I have a 1992 corvette lt1 and was experiencing problems. My security and ASR light would constantly flash at me, and cause my car to not start once it was shut off. I posted this complaint and got numerous responses suggesting to replace my ecm, but one suggestion was to top off my brake fluid. Before I went ahead and spent nearly $500 on a new ecm, i tried the brake fluid idea. Sure enough, it worked! I have not had problems with my car since I topped off the brake fluid and I saved myself a bunch of money! I suggest to try that before ripping yourself off.

Could it be that simple?...I've been having the same damn problem with my '93, Same lights service asr and SYS flashing with the security light. Car will run fine then when i shut it off it will not re-start. I will have to check my fluids.
