Banned members...
I will not quote any comments that have led to the banned accounts, nor will I personally address comments made by the inquiring minds since their comments equate to nothing more than speculation, assumptions, and incorrect opinions.
I have personally banned the following members:
JeffVette
CentralCoaster
Bogus
These members expressed their disappointment with the forum in an open thread, and just don't know when to say when.
The drama concerning the takeover by IB (Internet Brands) is old news, and if members this late in the game aren't willing to play by the rules here, then they will either have to accept the forum under the new ownership, or move onto to another site.
Members who believe that their tenure or knowledge on the CF will give them free rein to bash the forum, its Moderators, or the new owners, are mistaken.
The comments made by these members in a thread that is now in the Boneyard, were emotionally based, childishly written, and in violation of forum rules.
Other members may be joining these three members if they cannot comprehend the fact that this is a privately owned forum, and the First Amendment of the Constitution does not apply here like it does in a public entity.

God bless America, where we enjoy constitutionally protected rights. Free speech, although not absolute, is one of those rights.
Being a member at Corvetteforum.com is not, however, a constitutionally protected right. The Forum is a private enterprise and its owner has the right to establish rules of behavior for participants.
Participants who agree to follow Forum rules and then don’t will sometimes find that their inappropriate posts have been deleted. They should not reopen a topic after a moderator has closed a thread on the topic. A pattern of such defiance of the Forum’s rules/guidelines will jeopardize a member’s posting privileges.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
If you have suggestions for the improvement of the Forum or questions or criticism of the Forum or its moderation, you are welcome to PM or e-mail a moderator. Please do not use an open thread for such messages, however.
The work on the Forum's volunteer moderators is difficult enough without having folks calling them out in open threads.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
There may be times when a Forum member becomes so annoying to fellow Forum members and/or moderators -- even without specifically violating any Forum rules/guidelines, that the appropriate remedy is just to deny service to them.
Let's consider this fair warning for all, and an opportunity for discussion in private rather than in an open thread.
