I just unplugged the abs system behind the drivers side seat and installed a vaccum pump on the pass side above the window washers and was done with it.
Or if you are like me and almost wrecked your car when the vacuum pump stopped running you can run a hydro boost system that uses the power steering pump to add assist. If the engine is shut down you won't have assist for long but at least you know you will have it when the engine is running.
with manual brakes you'll need a master cyl with smaller bore than a power brake master...try a 68 vette/manual brake m/c, abt $65 new/$30 rebuilt at most discount auto parts (you'll need to fab a mounting adapter and push-rod).
There are some on here who can talk much more intelligently about this than me BUT my car is currently at the chassis shop for a solid rear install and we will be doing this as well - so I'll have a solution in the next month or so I can post to see how my builder (who is A+ guy) solves it.
From what I have read you have to change the geometry a little to get a little extra leverage since you are no longer running the power assist. I'm gonna let him pick a master cylinder but I think he usually runs a Lamb, don't know what size yet.
