84 Headlight Issues
I'm trying to stop the beast from winking.
Had some feedback from the uk and many helpful links as to how to stop the headlight from not working.
Trouble is all the links are for motors which aren't like mine.
Does anyone have any experience of sorting a headlight motor from an '84.
I think I need to clean the contacts - coulod just do to know where they are.

I just did the headlamp on my 84. You need to buy a gear set. The gears which are made of plastic wear out which causes the headlamp to "wink". Easy fix, the gears cost less then $25.00. Email if you need help.

The gears are fine - it's just now and again the motor doesn't spring into life.
I've read it's something to do with the contacts - but the insides of my motor isn't like any I've seen in bits yet.
