Can anyone enlighten me on the correct method of removing the TV cable from ther auto trans. I am removing the transmission to replace the front and rear seals. I am just about ready to remove the tranny. Thanks for any advice. The car is a 93 vert.

The tv cable for your 93 is obsolete. Therefore, I suggest the following:
drop the pan and pull the 2 tem mm bolts that retain the tv cable bracket at the bottom of the valve body. Remove the 10 mm bolt on the exterior of the trans and carefully wiggle the cble out of the bracket and trans. This will allow it to come apart without changing the adjustment. When reassembling, 87 INCH pounds is the correct torque for the 2 bolts that go into the valve body. Snug is good enough for the exterior bolt.
