Default question re: installing LT1 balancer hub

I'm finishing up replacing the opti, plug wires, plugs, w.p., etc., but I'm having trouble torqueing the bolt that holds the balancer hub to the crank. To access the opti, I just unbolted the center bolt and used a puller to extract the hub and balancer an inch or so, then I used a succession of different length bolts to tighten it back on. It's almost torqued down, but I can't figure out how to hold the pulley stationary. Would a large strap wrench work? The car's an auto, the the e-brake trick I found while searching won't work.
thanks!

I don't know the auto so well as the mn6 cars but could you remove the starter and install a C clamp or large vise grips on the exposed fly wheel?

Very large screwdriver or a flexplate turning tool and have someone hold the flexplate while you torque the bolt.

I put two of the damper bolts in the hub and use a flat bar across them to hold the hub stationary while I torque the center bolt on the hub.

I just did this. Put the balancer on and the use a ratchet and socket on a balancer bolt and turn it until it hits the rack and leave it there. Then you can torque the hub bolt with a different ratchet/torque wrench. Follow suit for the other balancer bolts.
