thanks! Thats weird in that I thought it had stock 26 lb injectors.. (or was it 28lb).

 

The injectors are rated at 28lbs but that rating is at 43.5psi. The injector constant in the programming is a function of the rated flow and the actual fuel pressure. My guess is that the GM engineers took a look at a sample of engines/fuel systems during development and found that on average the fuel pressure at WOT is ~40psi. A 28# injector at 40psi flows ~27#. IIRC the fuel pressure spec is 38-43 at WOT, so 40 makes sense.
