Are both lines low pressure or is the inlet(driver side) high pressure? The reason I ask is that I am replacing a leaking cooler. When I disassembled mine, I detached the cooler from the hose, leaving the leak free o-ringed flare nut fitting in place. I am in the process of installing the serpentine system from an 87 corvette with the cooler into my 57 chevy pickup.
I got a tranny filter mounted right now (with clamps; no leaks). I attached extra hose to the existing ends, to be able to configure to original when I get the original fixed, or a new one ($300 from Eck)...
