Default '94 Electronic Climate Control

My '94 Coupe w/43,000 miles starting acting weird.
1. The temp control would only adjust up.
2. Would not go to "auto"
3. Would not turn off
I assume the ECC is probably the culprit but since I'm a new C4 owner any hints of what to check for ahead of time would help.
Thanks.

It's common. The contacts between the ECC's faceplate and its body get dirty. Once the ECC module is out of the dash it's a simple matter to clean the contacts with alcohol and eraser.

I have heard you can take the climate control out and clean the contacts behind the buttons and in the rear. You can also take it apart and see if any soldering needs to be done. The one in my 95 started acting up. I would push a button and it would do nothing. I ended up purchasing another unit and swapped them out.

Default Ecc

I do not have a Factory Service Manual yet.
Anyone have the steps to accessing the climate control?
How do you remove the bezel etc.
Thanks Again!

Default ECC Update

I was able to remove all console trim and remove the Electronic Climate Control unit.
I opened the unit, cleaned all contacts and replaced back into the dash and everything now works like new!
Thanks to all who helped.
