I unplugged the CAGS on my car and removed the soleniod (it was leaking)from the trans. I used the old plug off the solenoid to keep the harness plug from being damaged by the elements. I didn't get a code when I unplugged the CAGS but I've seen other posts where a resistor is needed on the 96's to prevent one, can anyone tell me the resistor value I need to wire back into mine? Thanks all
You mean from the headers (and oil leak)? Oh yeah, runs like a bat out of hell and sounds downright evil. It resonates inside worse than before, the flowmasters were bad, the x-pipe is worse. It doesn't bother me too bad but I'm sure it would be too loud for some people.
Our local car club was talking dyno day next month, so I need to see what ever came of that. I'm very interested in seeing just exactly what the headers picked up for me.
Cool, glad it's together again. Too bad about the res, someone should come up with a solution to it, guess we haven't complained to the manufacturers enough. I thought the X pipe was supposed to help the prob. Let us know the dyno results if you have it done.
