"Please remember that Corvette Forum has a "No Kill Stories" policy. This is stated very clearly in the Forum Rules, which I encourage everyone to read. Specifically:
Street racing is dangerous and illegal.
Kill stories, or any posting about illegal, reckless and dangerous activities on any roadway, is not permitted at Corvetteforum.com.
Take it to the track.
If this is the type of entertainment you seek, there are places on the internet where it can be found, but it won't be on Corvette Forum.
Thanks for your cooperation."
If this is the site policy why is it only posted in C4? I am sure others partake.
Are such threads tolerated in the other sections of CF? I think not.
Perhaps they just came up so frequently in C4 that Mr. Mojo or the
moderator responsible for this inclusion in Forum Rules felt the need
to spell it out.
In my opinion it seems a bit condensending that we have to be told to not post "kill" stories in this fashion. I would have to say that at one point every vette owner has done something that would fall into this catagory. so what I an guessing is that unless we state that it is on a closed track or private property blocked off from the public we can't mention anything about out acceleration, winding up to almost redline before shifting, power shifting, shift kits chirping tires etc. Like I said this is just my opinion.
