Default Courtesy Light for Ignition Switch
Recently acquired an '86. No owners manual. Is there a courtesy light somewhere to light the upper steering wheel/ignition switch area? The lights on the door just don't reach that area, and it takes a while for my night vision to kick in! I've looked around but don't see one.

if you have option B4Z, your map light should be working and will illuminate that area.

Yes, but the ignition switch needs to be turned on before the map light will work. It's on switched current.
