LT1/4L60E question
I am looking for a Corvette LT1/4L60E combo for a 56 Chev wagon project that I will be doing in the future. I have an 87 Vert with the L98 but have no experience with an LT1. Any advice would be appreciated. Are some years better than others? Other than the wiring harness and the ECM, is there anything else needed from the donor car?

Not all of the LT1s came with 4l60E's.
I know for sure that the 92s don't have 4L60Es.
95 is the first year for the vented opti, 96s use OBDII.
If I were doing a shoebox swap it would be either a BBC or LSX good luck.
The camaro/firebird LT1s are the same (with the exception of 2bolt vice 4 bolt mains)
