DTC C72 Help
Hello all...
I have some problems I'm trying to fix. My car just threw about a 1/2 dozen codes that ultimately was determined to be the optispark. I replaced that and what fun it was. Also replaced my waterpump with an electric one. I'm elated with these new items on the car and it runs great, but....
I get a SYS flash often and when I pull the codes, I get a C72/H72. Looking this up it says, "LCD Dimming..." ...and that's all it says.
Here are some more data to the problems. My horn does not work and blows the fuse within a few minutes of it being installed. Sometimes it lasts a long time but as soon as I hit the horn on the wheel, it blows.
Secondly, the PKE does not work. I've tried and tried to get it program but it won't program.
Lastly, the radio will not spit out a CD. There is a CD in the mechanism but it won't come out. Otherwise, the radio works great. Plays fine, receives fine, cassette works too.
I would like to work each of these problems one at a time beginning with the most annoying problem, the flashing SYS light. I suspect the C72 error code has something to do with the SYS light but am not sure.
Anyone care to offer any advice?
