The one for my 87 was plug and play. 30 minute job and did not break a sweat. I have heard there may be a wire terminal to mod on some of them though. Did you look on the website for instructions??

yes, i looked and could not find instructions anywhere well i guess ill start the removal and hopefully someone will chime in by the time im ready for re-install
Any electrical splicing, or was it "plug and play"?
nah, just unplug old wiring and replace with new! hardest part was remocing the fuel lines..those dudes did not want to come off, although my skin sure came off persuading the hoses
