The rear is easy.. just use the longer bolts, the front it much more difficult, you need to remove the front spring and take out some shims. The car needs to be re-aligned after doing either the front or the rear also.
I lowered mine and I won't own another C4 thats not lowered, handling improved, rides better and looks MUCH better.
I got the full lowering kit from MAD but the Vette looked so good with just the rear lowered about 1 1/4" that I stopped there. And yes it does handle better as well as look much better. It took about 1/2hr to lower the rear.

Some people on the forum complain of high speed instability with the car level... they we're designed with a slight rake from front to back. Can't say for sure as I dropped the rear 2 inches, front a little over 1.5 and the car still has a rake to it and I doubt you'd notice it unless you get well over 100.
Might depend on the car too.. my 95 sat very high... if I didn't lower the front it would of had a lot of wheel well showing still.
These are the bolts running through the single rear spring on both sides. I just did mine last night and it looks so much better.
What about alignment? The wheels look like they tilt in at the top now. Does anyone know is that because of the alignment. Do I need to get it realigned?
Thanks
