Default Knocking sound from the Bottom

Hi everybody, I have recently imported my 85 back from Saui Arabia. It was driven in Houston before. Last thing after blowing my motor up was the ZZ4 swap in 1999. The ZZ4 motor may have 9K miles on it. I shipped the car in a container and had personaly parked the car inside it. After two and a half months, the car arrived in Houston. I was the one who pulled it out of the container. After replacing the battery, I fired the car up and to my surprise, I have a loud knocking sound from the bottom of the motor. I am completely surprised as to what may have happened while the car was parked inside the container. I am quite sure that the car was not taken out of the container after I had parked it.
Any ideas as to what may have happened while the car was left untouched for 2 1/2 months? I am thinking, does it have something to do with sea? or the time that it was left untouched?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Most L98's don't get seasick. Even if it did, it was on land long enough to recover. Seriously, the trip should have had NO effect. Many homebound Corvettes spend that much time, or more, stored for winter every year. Did you have some extra enthusiactic fun with it before you parted? Besides what you say that you're "quite sure of"...Did you check the odometer before and after?

Thanks for your input.

The reason for me to be sure that it has not been driven after that is because I had to nail wooden blocks in front and back and outer side of each tire to keep it in one place and when I opened the container the wooden pieces were in the same place.
With regards to having some extra fun, I have always been enthusistic with the car, but when I had parked it inside, it was fine except a burst rear tire, which makes me think even more that it was not driven.
