Small Oil Leak....
Well... I have a small oil leak on the new motor.... Im running Mobil one and I know this has a tendancy to find minute leaks so Im wondering what to do. Im fearing that it could be the rear main seal adapter thats leaking (two piece crank in a one piece block) Not really for sure about this, but Im certainly concerned. I took it into the local Goodyear they put in a oil dye and said they STILL couldnt really locate the leak (Actually they replaced the oil pressure sendor switch thingy Im pretty convinced that didnt help) So what could I try hear? Would some of the oil additive that will fill the leak work well? Its nothing very major, but everythings major after so much work... Thoughts on possibly what it could be? I havnt gotten the car in the air myself, but the oil was dripping off both the torque converter cover pan and the back of the oil pan. Two small drips, this was before the replacement Im going to check it in a day or so but any suggestions on what to do next?
