All this is good info, thanks guys. I going to research the under pulley concept for kicks. If I could get away with running a similar wire along side the original I would be happy with that.

You need the same cable size with a 105A or a 140A......4 AWG.

I am pretty sure you can use any CS144 alternator with your CS130 mount and pulley. The CS144 was used on a ton of GM vehicles (trucks, caddilacs, etc) and can usually be found at junkyards cheap. I bought a brand new one for a chevy truck for $125 at autozone, clocked it differently and swapped my pulley, and run it now.

Anyone know what size pulley is on my stock CS130 ? 57 or 59 mm ? Im thinking of going with a slightly smaller pulley.
