A little difficult to get at. Make sure engine is cool and fuel pressure is relieved. Will hold pressure for a while. Has threaded fittings on each end and a band clamp holding it to the frame. Has o'rings on both connecting lines.

How do I relive the fuel pressure. Are you saying that it will relieve it self after sitting for awhile? Its on the drivers side by the frame rail right?

Thanks

Pull the fuse for the fuel pump and run your engine until the line runs out of gas.

You can pull the fuel pump fuse and run the engine until it dies. After that, use the Schrader valve on the fuel rail to make sure there is no residual pressure.

Jack up the front of the car (the filter is on the passenger side on the frame rail) and remove the gas cap.

Use line wrenches to remove the old filter; line wrenches will keep you from rounding off the face of the nuts. Have a good sized catch basin below the filter as you will get some flow out of the lines.
