I washed my car a couple of weeks ago and I cant get my interior lights to go off. So i had to pull the fuse so it wouldnt run my battery down. Ive heard its some sort of light timer but I cant seem to find the part. If any ideas on how to fix this problem please help. Thanks
The timer you are looking for is on the passenger side, take off the panel under dash above passenger knees) there you will see a white plastic connector it is the interior timer, I think it has three wires to it, unplug and replace, cost about $20 and all will be well again.
Make sure your key is 90 degrees before you pull it out of the door. Believe it or not it happens, if you take your key out of the lock before it is back to the "90" degree angle" it can leave your interior lights on. Its bounced around this forum, but I forgot what the reason was, I guess either worn key or tumbler!?
Terry, I just figured that out!!! Just got the car last week and Fridaynight I'm driving earning the dork award! Driving around with the int. lights on. Got out curse... swear... lock the door.... ran into the bank... come out lights are out :D It had to be the lock sensor. Dose anyone know how hard is it to replace the lock cylinder??
