tpis

i have tpis on my 85 vett .i took it off to clean it one of the butterfly was lose.is there ajustment? to get it set or trash it and get a new one?

TPIS = Tuned Port Induction Specialties (company)......not a part though.

Do you mean a Throttle Body from TPIS? I'm confused

A factory TPI throttle body? or a TPIS throttle body?

It doesn't matter if it is a factory TPI throttle body or a TPIS throttle body. Just position the butterfly so it fits in the throttle bore properly and re-tighten the screws. A little Locktite wouldn't hurt, but generally this screws are staked so they can't back out. I would be sure they are well staked.

but is idle is high about 850 in Drive & 1000 out temp 220 no ajustment
on minimuum idle . disconnect IAC as the SM say .still run about 1000
rpm even turn the tps down no luck. I think I have a vacuum leak?
took it on a test drive run good but high idle
