Check this out C4 axle conversion
Then added a wishbone & some brackets.Bob & Leo you cant compare to ski-dos, not in the the same CLASS.
This SHOP put skidowns cage in his car.
Our setup is COMPLETELY bolt in - which was the FIRST one that was bolt in - insanities. and many others are welded in, as well as EVERY other one except the one you see above that was produced since our last go around. Nobody is debating Leo installed solid rear setups in vette before. They were NOT bolt-in though like ours, they use a crossmember, they were not adjustable (required going back to his shop to get adjusted).
Our setup is a COMPLETE 4 link and offers every adjustment that you get with a an all out racecar or one that has been 1/2 backed with a 4link. Only with ours there is NO cutting of the car.
Furthermore there is NO NEED to take the car back to Leo to have it dialed in, since you have EVERY adjustment at your own fingertips to dial in any weight/hp setup you can imagine.
In addition, ours offers the FIRST NO CROSSMEMBER setup - which when you run a crossmember in these cars have the unfortunate experience of hitting EVERYTHING on the road, and also scraping everytime you enter or exit a parking lot that is NOT pefectly flush with the area around it. Trust me I know, I ran one for the better part of last summer and I hated it.
So while those of you that think I copied someone design, those that know what they are looking at, know that they are more different than alike. Furthermore, we will see how much our design changes in the next several months/years and how much the one shown above changes to look/mimic what ours offers.
I will tell you what - I will offer a version as shown above for 3900 dollars. However, you will hear me say it 20x before I sell it to anyone that you have NO adjustment and I highly recommend you go with the GOOD design that I offer as my main setup.
Take a look at the attention to detail and what your getting with my original - then you will see for the same money comparing the two is rediculous.
The key is functionality, reliability, and adjustability - you get them all with our kit.
Lastly I am a longtime supporting vendor of the forum which contributes great deal of money each month back to the forum so we can ALL enjoy the community we have here. So when you buy from me, you are also contributing back to the forum here.
Those that have already and will be purchasing our setup - thanks.
Here is a slideshow for those wanting to compare the two:
