I have a 94 coupe with the ZF6 manual transmission. I replaced the clutch, throwout bearing and the DMF with 103K on the odometer. I also drained the tranny fluid and re filled it with the GM oil. The car has 114K on it now and I am hearing intermitent noise that sounds like a bad bearing. Can a throw out bearing make a horrible noise some of time? The noise is becoming more prolific. Can the ZF6 tranny make this kind of noise?
Any help would be appreciated.

I have driven this car some more and I now realize that the noise is coming from the trans. It is resonating type of vibration on one of the shafts. When the car is in gear and the clutch is engaged everything seems to be fine. I will get in contact with the ZFdoc for direction on what to do next. How long does a ZF6 last before requiring an overall?

I may be having the same issue. ZF w/ 120,000 miles on it with the clutch replaced at 100,000. I'm getting a noise whenever I push in on the clutch pedal either in gear or not. I have been told it can be everything from a dried up bearing to my dual mass slowly starting to seperate (fall apart). Let us know what you hear.
