Spark Plug????
What kind of spark plugs do u guys run?? My dad just bought a 87 coupe. We pulled the spak plugs and they had some Bosch +4 platinum plugs in there. He got some NGK's (PT# UR52139) and they have a much shorter inserion than the Bosches, apparently they are for the car. So we went and got some Autolite Platinums (PT#AP3924) and they are about 1/16" longer, and are for this car. Just not sure whats right and whats not?

I either go with the stock AC Delcos or NGK. I've used NGK in a few different vehicles over the past 10 years with out problems. Not sure of the part number for the NGK's for your aluminum head engine. The part number for the AC's is 41-629. Gapped at 0.35".
I usually stay away from the high dollar plugs. A spark is a spark. The high dollar plugs usually will last longer, but not worth it to me since I look at my plugs and swap them every 20K miles or so.
