1991 was the first year for the DAB (Delayed Accessory Bus) thus the CCM for that year is Unique

Both motors use the Speed/Density engine control. The comvertible mufflers only used one exhaust outlet per side. The gear set for the ragtop is 2.59:1 for the automatic

C44EVER.

The 84-90 mufflers were the oval type.......the 91 had a more round muffler like the 92 LT-1's..but it had two tips rather than the single tip LT-1 tip. The 91's also mounted different than the 84-90 mufflers. Thats why you see so many systems that fit a 84-90. These systems can be used though with slight modification to the exhaust hangers!

I am planning on getting the MAD Performance mufflers with the Z-R1 tips. They say they only fit on the 84-90 models.....but I have seen many 91's with thses mufflers installed! Other than that.......I beleive that no other part of the exhaust was different. Of course the 91 was the last year to use clamps...the 92 and up have a completely welded system....which requires cutting for modification.

I looked at a lot of cars and gathered a lot of materials when I looked for mine.
According to the info I have:
--new option Z07--Z51 and FX3 combined, all heavy duty parts, for "aggressive" driving, coupes only
--power wire for cell phone, etc
--power delay for stereo/windows to operate after ignition off or til driver's door opened/15 minutes
--"Low oil" added to information center-new sensor installed in oil pan
--muffler changed-larger sections and "tuning" of exhaust note (improved performance, but no power rating change)
--AM band expended for more frequencies
--ZR-1 valet system revised to default to normal at each key cycle
All the other changes, like the ZR-1 like rear end, new design wheels, etc were cosmetic/body changes.

Hope this helps
