Default '93 Cruise Control vacuum line connection missing

From the "T" fitting that is connected to the servo (above the
battery), one small plastic hose is connected to the vacuum tank ahead
of the left tire, and another small plastic hose about 4" long isn't
connected to anything.

My GM Service Manual Book 1 page 9B-3 Figure 4 doesn't show it
connected to anything!!

Logically it should go to the intake manifold, but I can't find a place
for it.

Can someone look on their equivalent Vette and tell me where it is
attached?

Give me a few minutes, I will take some pictures of my 93, with battery out as I am in there anyways. Hopefully the battery in the camera is good

This hose, t fitting goes to this, the thinner hose going by the fuse box

The T line under the master cylinder goes back into the wiring harness here

The fatter line, on top, goes to under the brake booster.

In this picture:

The larger line on from the cruise control top goes to the "T" fitting under the ASR.
The line from the "T" toward the front goes to the small vacuum reservoir.
The line from the "T" towards the back of the engne goes around the engine under the right injector cover for vacuum source.

The other vacuum line that goes down under the brake booster goes through the firewall to a vacuum switch on the brake pedal.
This vacuum switch shuts off cruise when you hit the brake.

Steve,
If the small plastic hose in pic #! is connected to the lower hose in pic #2 by a "T" fitting, I need to know where the other end of the "T" goes to.

Thanks, Bill

Default See this thread, great cruise control info - Actuator noise?

by Bill Dearborn, really details out the CC operation, it just helped me figure something out.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...ntrol+actuator

my question is still, the actuator - if that's the device above the battery on my 92 C4, has direct cable to throttle and two vacuum lines, like in the photos above - mine is noisy! There must be a spring of some sort in there and on bumps it rings like a chime these days. Curious if I should open it up..

thanks
DW

Default Can I jump in and ask

Can you tell me the exact routing and connections for the HVAC vacuum source? I am having one heck of a time getting it right on my 1991 L98 that the previous owner butchered, any help you can provide is greatly appreciated, thanks!!
